The Mistress of Novice's Study
The room is warmly decorated with a thick rug patterned in muted greens,
yellows and blues on the floor and a wide desk set facing away from the
fireplace in the western wall.  There are two chairs set before the desk and a
cushioned armchair behind it.  The walls are decorated with tapestries and
paintings.  On the desktop there is a large, bound book holding many pages.  
In the corner by the fireplace, a rather wicked looking willow switch leans
against the wall.

A writing desk dominates the center of the room, facing the entrance.

The Mistress of Novices looks up from her ledgers.

Diana spreads her skirts and sinks into a deep curtsey before you.

Diana whispers conspiritorially, 'She's a bit on the rough side, but I think
she will be well Mistress Merean Sedai.'
 
Mistress Diana says, 'I could not sense her ability though Merean Sedai.'

The Mistress of Novices 's lips twich slightly.
 
Diana looks confused.
 
Mistress Diana says, 'Can she channel?'

You say, 'Well we shall rub the rough edges off her if she is to stay.'

You say, 'No child, she has not yet learned if she can be taught.'

You say, 'Now for other matters.'
 
Diana looks up nervously, 'Did you have another task for me Merean Sedai?'

You say, 'I see you have been with us for awhile now and have progressed in
your studies and..'
