Ideas and bugs!

So i've been playing for a decent amount now, running around doing stuff..figured I'd make a post of things i've noticed! Ideas, bugs, and such.

1) Log on screen is only 25 seconds. Could it please be like at least a minute long? I can't count the times i've been disconnected while logging in because of that short timer, it's aggravating.

2) Armor: I'm at Average abs: 76% (176 points) with only 70% armor skill. This means I'll never been able to walk around without falling down, it sucks! :( Readjust all armors lower or make a hard armor cap at 70 or something

3) Search...is weird.

An Abandoned Warehouse
Absolutely nothing is found in this warehouse. The wooden planked floor is
clean and dry. Not even rat droppings or empty crates are scattered across the
floor. Tall wooden posts hold up the red painted roof, which slopes down to
walls edged with thick strands of cobwebs and dead insects. A small path lies
through an open doorway to the north.

Alas, you cannot go that way....

It's in plain sight but it's hidden? I dont know if that's a bug or a feature or whatever but it's weird as heck.

4) Armor slots. I love the huge amount of armor slots but it gets really confusing, even after so long. 3 slots for 'on body' get confusing. The 'on arms', 'on forearms' and 'on wrist' slots also get confusing. The 'in hair', 'around head' and 'on head' are also confusing.

The Nareven Smithy
The peal of a blacksmith's hammer seems to linger in the air, even in the
absence of the blacksmith. The smithy has obviously seen good business these
few years, and the crammed shelves and overflowing ledgers prove it. A large
furnace stands by the north wall, roaring loudly and causing the air around it
to shimmer with heat. Seated at right angles to the furnace is a battered
anvil, a rack holding pinchers and hammers standing beside it. The walls are
barren, as the overworked furnace has coated it with layers of soot. A
soot-caked doorway lead east, out of the store.

A black warhorse, following you is standing here.
A black-haired man, wielding a walking staff is standing here.
An ill-tempered girl walks around, muttering to herself.
A young blacksmith's apprentice is hard at work, learning the trade.

Thanks for the reports Dakan! We appreciate the feedback.

The shops i'll get on my fix list.

The other's are coding issues, i know we're looking at the armor thing, i though we'd fix it already actually but i guess not.

Armor doesn't use most of the spots, a lot of it is for RP purposes for accessories/clothing. There is a help file, i think its help equipment that gives a run down of what is worn where to help. Would name changes help to clarify some positions?

Time out screen...I could be wrong but i think that is a telnet issue and can't be changed. But the Coders will know better.

Search again, coders. I don't know much about it at all. I can't even guess.

'bracers' that are worn on forearms. Confusing! Also that rusty halberd doesn't sell for anything anywhere...would be nice if they were worth a little bit.

Thank you for reporting all of these, Dakan.

I can answer the armour portition;

Armor as skill is getting a change as to how it works, once I finish up that portition and the change goes in. How it's supposed to work is that with 99% armor skill, you shouldn't fall down at all anymore. Currently however, it's not like that, and if your armor points go over your skill, you risk a chance at falling down with each step. So not to despair! It will change to be more 'sensible', so that even with 70% skill, you should be able to walk around in armor more reliably without falling down. Although running is likely cause you to fall more often..

Fear would be better classified as 'courage'. It means, the lower you have it, the less likely it is that you will perform actions you wish to do, for example, moving, performing special attack maneuvers, channeling.. :)

So just a random idea as I went through the deal joining a clan today.

Why not strike the clans that dont have ingame support off the giant list? It's just confusing otherwise...I ended up joining two clans that weren't ready T_T

I don't mean to complain, cause this game has been -awesome- so far. But could it be considered to have caravans, boats, etc come more often? The 'hours' here are reaaaaaaallly long. And if I say, die in the waste, and its late, I finally get to the caravan, and i -just- missed it. I either lose everything or sit around for an entire hour to catch the next caravan. :( Please?
